"Greg R. Lawson. A spokesman for the U.S. Sportsmen’s Alliance, told the Washington Times, "The Humane Society of the United States is public enemy number one for sportsmen. We believe firmly that they're against all forms of hunting. We actually battle them in state after state, and they back all types of different legislation, ballot issues, that seek to restrict the rights of hunters. The concern we have with what Rush did is not so much the actual content of the new public-service announcements. . . . It's the very fact that he recorded anything for that group because of their agenda against the sportsmen community.""

NORTH CAROLINA: HSUS Continues to Unfairly Target Breeders in North Carolina! (http://www.ilaalerts.org/UM/T.asp?A1.2.6707.31.3341398) The anti-hunting extremists at the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) have turned up the pressure on the North Carolina House Finance Committee in an effort to pass Senate Bill 460, or another bill to which they can attach its language. Time continues to run out on their ability to pass this attack on responsible dog breeders, including those that breed dogs for hunting. While some have tried to claim that hunting dogs will not be affected by this bill, the statement is completely false. All breeds of dogs will be affected. http://texashoghunter.com/images/images/forum/emoticons/thumbdown.gif
