The safest way I could think of you would need a few dudes. Get at least two of the dog catcher loop pole things. One dude can slip in from one side and catch the head and hold him oppisite of the trap door. The door can be opened and the other pole could be used to catch the rear legs and drag the hog out back wards leaving the other pole still attached to the neck and the dude on the neck pole quickly getting the neck pole as it comes out the front of the trap. Better have more dudes.http://texashoghunter.com/images/images/forum/emoticons/lol.gif

i have often wondered aboutthat same senario, so when i built my second trap i addeda 20 by 20 inch trap dooron the top of the trap.if u catch multiple hogs, opening the main trap door is not an option. u still have to be careful pulling them out the top cause if they see their friends leaving that way the others will try it too without ur help!!!!!!!!!!!!!! no matter how u look at it u need several guyson aproject like this if u cant get a trailer to ur trap or dont have a getter. to top it all off, if u are not a master knot makerthese things are like hudini. personally i like ratchet straps, they willget tight enough to hold a hog down on a 4 wheeler rack, in addition to my lesser than average knot tying ability.i use a hand held hog snare to get them to the trapdoor on top( it's a cable in a piece of pipe connected to a handle w/ a washer style lock on the handle).just my 2 centshttp://texashoghunter.com/images/images/forum/emoticons/wink.gif
