My friend and I just got back from a thermal hunt in Georgia. We used 308s to lay these porkers out.

Thermal seems like it would be the way to go. Dont need any light. How much do the thermal set up cost. Not that I could afford them.

From ebay used ive seen 4500.00 - new hi end for 18k. Its all about the resolution and range. The longer you want to reach out the more it is. It seems to be comming down tho, from what ive seen in the last 6 months Ive looked. I'd say expect to drop 10k. On a side note, NOTHING compares to it. It makes locating them easy, whatcha do after that is up to you :)

I included a couple pics of hog damage.

That is pretty cool stuff. I saw it once but the camera was attached to an electric helecopter and the video was transmitted to a reciever. You could see every little animal around even your own hand print on a tree after you removed it, but that technology is way out of my price range for the time being.
