A friend of mine called about some hogs he traped, so my dad and i figured i would pick a couple up for my birthday. We arrived at the barn and my friend had them pinned up in the back corner of the small feeding pin.

as we wqalked up i picked out three hogs each about 70-80 lbs on the hoof. We shot the first and pulled him out of the pin and proceeded to shoot the other two. Once we got the rest of them out we began to bleed them out when i noticed one was missing. it was right about then when i heard a grunting sound. I turned around and across the out pin was an obviously pissed off poorly shot hog stairing us down. I turned to my Dad and said "that hog is going to charge." He smiled and said "na he wouldn't he's shot. " Right then the hog came strait for us. as i stood bracing my self i noticed out of the corner of my eye my brave father take one step back and another to the left directly behind me. My only reaction was to put the heal of my boot into the forhead of the hog sending it off to one side, as he carefully watched from behind me. At which point he was shot again and collapsed.

Goes to show Daddy's alway got your back.....
