Thanks, the head shot was Intentional. I have made plenty ofbad shots in my day but that was not one of them. Thats was about a 20 yard shot if I remember correctly. I bet I've killed over 70 coon in the last two years with my bow. Here is a pic of one of my feeders a week after I set it up.

The first night I hunted that feeder I killed 7 or 8 coons and 3 hogs. For some reason the bigger boars like this feeder. I sure wish I would have got a shot at this dude.

Reusing arrows for coons, Ilike it man. LOL That is a nice boar. Ever see him again?

I bet I've killed 15+ coons with that arrow and still have it in my quiver. The boar came in off and on for about 6 months and then the tank dried up last October and he disappeared.

That sucks..................I'm gonna be putting an arrow in mine this yr also for just coons. The dam corn thives. LOL

Me hates on the Coons too! http://texashoghunter.com/images/images/forum/emoticons/evil.gif I don't mind a few hanging around the feeder, (as when the pigs start to come in, usually before I can hear them), the coon skeedattle, so it's a good head's up, but when the numbers go crazy and the corn starts disappearing WITHOUTpigs being the cause, OR when theystartto mess with the feeder motor or wires, well,...it's time for action!
