Coupland, TX., 2:30 pm. Broad Day Light Along Treeline. 125 Yds. Away. 200 # + Cold Front Sow. Headshot. I hunted the back feeder afterwards until 10:30 pm. It was 17 F. When I left andI had ice on the INSIDE of my windshield! Cold fronts ain't the best hunting conditions, but every now and then, I guess they pay off!

Wow, 2:30 in the afternoon is early. Was she up and moving or bedded down? That's a big sow. Nice job. Did you get video of the hunt?

She was moving along a treeline. I have started making a habit of parking thetruck 100 yds. away from the entrance to the 'entry' field and walking up just to scope things out. The field has alot of rooting and you never know what yomight stumble upon,...like this SOW!!!!!http://texashoghunter.com/images/images/forum/emoticons/lol.gifhttp://texashoghunter.com/images/images/forum/emoticons/lol.gifhttp://texashoghunter.com/images/images/forum/emoticons/lol.gif

If I was REALLY smart, (which I'm not), I would of taken the cmera and tri-pod too. Live and learn I guess. I'llstart doing that know as well....
