So the 4 hogs have been on the game cam. coming in regularly, tonight was the same story as usual, only minus the 100% humidity, so I was able to get a shot. This guy came in at 7:45 and bit the dust from 70 yds. Waited around for 2 hrs. to see if any more would come in, but no dice. So after I drag him away from the feeder and prop him up for a photo, I'm having a hard time balancing him. So I reach back to spread his back legs and HOLLY-MOLLY!!!!!! Talk about getting creeped out! The blood and bone stuff doesn't bother me. But 3 legs! Now THAT'S just creepy!!!!!!:http://texashoghunter.com/images/images/forum/emoticons/eek.gifhttp://texashoghunter.com/images/images/forum/emoticons/eek.gifhttp://texashoghunter.com/images/images/forum/emoticons/eek.gif

Sir,

You could not tell that from any of the cam pic's? That's strange..............Looks like the legs never grew. Nice trophy!!

Yep, no sign of an old wound. Looks this this old boy was born, minus one leg. Never seen this but, as the old saying goes "anything is possible in the great outdoors!"

Nice hog Michael, three legged hog now that's a trophy. I have three legged cat that gets around just fine, so I doubt it bothered him to bad. That's a good one Gigem..lol

You're right. Ithought the same thing, so I went back and looked again at all the game cam pics. Either he isn't in them, or if he is he was at an angle that didn't show him with only 3 legs.

Never can tell I guess.......

Boy i tell you what if i came across a tripod hog like that i honestly would have to pass on him. If he has made it that far he has something going for him.

hehe. I hear ya. Believe it or not, you couldn't even tell. But then again, I was watching them under the feeder and they kinda move around alot while they are eating. I've seen other hogs which have been shot in the leg before being harvested, but nothing like this. Missing an entire limb is a new one for me....
