this is how i make my snares. it is quick and easy and it works.



1. unbraid cut end into equal strands or as close as you can get to equal strands



2. make small loop and start one end braidin in to cable { it will braid only one way- the cable will lay right back



3. after each side of loop is braided , i like to wrap electrical tape over braided ends



4. cut cable to lenght needed, braid this end

it will take some trial and error , but they are a very effective- good luck

Yea i got plenty of of hogs its just a matter of catching them comeing threw they are always moving

That is a really good snare what is the length of the cable and the thickness of the cable?

5/16 or 3/8 cable -- length is usually determined on where your anchor to where you goin to put your loop- I usually make the snares in the field, that way i know how long to make thm-- but 6 foot is usually long enough for any set
