pentax scope - 300wssm

done some trading this morning, ended up with a savage 300 wssm and a pentax scope. Have any of you guys had any dealings with a pentax scope? don't want to put it on if it won't handle the 300wssm. Any info. would be appreciated.

My personal oponion about scopes is that if mounted properly and sighted in correctly it should function well. I have made many kills with the cheapest ($35) tasco at 250 yards no problem, not even variable power with a .243 cal. That pentax looks like a good scope and if you got confidence in it I say go for it, nice looking riffle!!!
