I'm having all sorts of video program dificulties lately, so the video s a little weak. But in case you have never seen a boar circling a feeder before going in, here it is. In my experience, the bigger/older the boar, the wider the circle and the longer he will take to commit to going in. This guy circled at about 40 yds. The video doesn't show it, but 10 min. later he reappeared behind the feeder and started feeding. (It was too dark to video at that point...http://texashoghunter.com/images/images/forum/emoticons/sad.gif)

It just goes to show there getting smarter, they adapt to the enviroment and im sure there are some kind of predator in the area they are watching for. A coyote and a deer does the same thing. very interesting tho

The last two big hogs I shot were "circling" the feeder. Of course they never made it to the feeder!

I saw the same thing on my last hog hunt where two hogs came out about 40 yards from the feeder and circled around into the brush and never came out again!!!
