Hog hunting N. of Gonzles tx.

Anyone hunt north of gonzles tx. on hy 183?

I now the hog hunting has to be good around that area, spent some time there last year in the spring and there was road kill hogs on the side of the road that looked good. I have been told that there is some good European bloodline hogs that run around that area.

Thanks for the info you are the 2nd person that said about the Russian boar in that area...... i was gonna use pop ups for blinds but now i dont know!

Yeah I read somewhere a while back about different areas of Texas that are populated with strong European bloodlines and Gonzales county was on there along with some East TX counties and I have seen many a Russian boar near the saltwater marsh area just outside of my hometown near Corpus Christi. So far its been kinda slow hoping to get some pig pics soon.Not really wanting to start huntin until the pigs show up on cam.
