I'm all about controlling the hog population, but unsure of using this type of bait to kill hogs!!!

Nothing is as simple as that. There are many other aspects that have to be researched. Folks are lookin for a quick fix and if they dont watch out they are goin to wind up killin hogs and everything else that this state has available in its variety of hunting. I know folks are gettn torn up real bad by the hogs because we have had to replace axles and a variety of other things on our tractors over the years, but me personaly I dont believe that poison is the route that should be taken. I believe its going to take a joint effort of the State, farmers, ranchers and hunters to fix this problem. Somewhere along the line there is going to have to be some type of unity on this issue, without the State trying to be the only say in the matter. There will have to be "Well organized" meetings with reasonable ideas to control the numbers and the meetings will have to be well advertised by the state not like the so called meetings they call to decide on regulations that we hear of a month or so later. This is the only way that something can be reached to help with the situation to where all parties can be satisfied.

wish the states would listen to more to the hunters and trappers, they need to listen to us and include us to help with the hogs. we as hunters and trappers are not included in oklahoma because the state doesn't include the feral hog as a state game animal
