Leaving for our Texas lease to hunt hogs this Thurs morning July 15th.. This will be my first attempt to hunt hogs at night. Hope to get some pictures and possibly some video. I have my 25:06 newly sighted in 1 inch high at 100 yards.

Get you one of the Sniper Hog Lights and you will be able to take advantage of the nights also. Good luck on your hunt and let us all know how you did.

Right, with night sites, who needs an external light source huh? Here's my sign. LOL!!!

Gary,

The ND-3 isn't a "night sight"...it's variable-beam, green laser illuminator....it's still an external light source. One of our clients had one. We played with it one night but it's wavelength and night-vision don't go well together.

Man, I'm all kind of messed up with this night stuff. I'll stick to my snipers. Less confusing. LMAO!!!!!!!

I shot a 148 pound sow right at dark last week. Four hogs that were with her showed up at an adjacent feeder five minutes later. i turned on my Lazer Benetics green lazer light and as soon as the light hit the hogs, they spooked and ran off. The ads for this light says the green lite will not spook hogs. Has anyone else had this experience?

I figured something out about the nds3 or the Destroyer. If you look through brush are tall grass you will get lots of reflections that really cuts your distance down.I was looking through a path I had cleared thru some brush, lot of reflections. Moved out to the open wheat field and you can see a long way.Chuck
