My son and I set the trap Tuesday night and checked it Wed. morning before it got to 100 degrees.

We are back on pigs!!



Headed to Winters, TX. to gig frogs tonight and check for Dove & Pig activity.

I'll check game cameras Sunday.

The weekend was a bust!!! No frogs or hogs...must be global warming. http://texashoghunter.com/images/images/forum/emoticons/sad.gif I did gig a huge catfish! I couldn't keep it pinned to the bottom and it broke my gig off and swam away with my gig head. I think I'll switch to Fish gigs. My buddy in Winters said the state had just finished chopper hog control 2 week before. When I asked how many pigs they killed he said around 25. Not much control there. The Dove hunting looks great! I'm ready for opening weekend. I haven't had a chance to get back to Buffalo Gap for the new pig set-up...maybe this weekend.

I haven't seena hog all summer long,they haven't been to my feeder.There on the place but there definately coming to the feeder.Coons are though.Chuck
