Wild Hog Bait Attractants

I tried out the recommended wild hog bait attractant in this article on hog baits and it seemed to work pretty well. The mixture no doubt had a smell to it that you could smell from a good ways away. They say hogs can smell like 5 miles out, and it seemed adding the anise oil was what really gave it the smell. The other stuff in the bait seemed to be for more flavoring, but I put the stuff out and it's all gone now. So I'd say something out there really likes. Now I need to set up a game camera.
