I haven't been able to find a good processor in the same area either. The two I use are in opposite directions but they are both recommended.

I own a Weatherby Vanguard and would use it exclusively if it was larger than .223. Highly recommend.
From the choices you provided, I would recommend the Weatherby Vanguard youth.
I've seen the videos of the supposedly chupacabra sightings and have to admit they look remarkably similiar to the mange covered coyote I saw roaming the creek a couple of weeks back.

The light shown above is actually an umbrella light and they work pretty good as I used the same. The only problem is with scent control. The battery operated light has to be turned on and hung...

Okay neighbor, I have been looking for a couple more 55 gallon drums. Let's hook up.
Feeders are the easiest way to establish a feeding pattern. Once established they will come to the same spot for generations. You can throw all kinds of money at feeders, but in the end, only the...
Never tried a snare myself. Looks like it works though. Nice piggy.
The last two big hogs I shot were "circling" the feeder. Of course they never made it to the feeder!
Hogs travel to feed. If your "bait" becomes their food source, they will make a point to visit routinely. It will take some time to condition them, but I have had some hogs "visit" my feeder...

As others here have said...shot placement #1. Unless you use a bazooka, a hog will continue to run if the shot is not placed right. You could take out both lungs and the hog would run until it blacks...
There are always other view points to consider, and as ethical hunters we must consider the best interest of the environment around us. It is tough enough with the likes of PETA and other...
Now I wish I hadn't got rid of those 3 army cots this past summer.
Many of the hogs in my area have the long hair like that. Check out my album Hawgs.

I grew up hunting but had to put it on the back burner while I got caught up in the rat race providing an income for my family and raising my kids. So I kinda missed the initial hog population...
The whole nuisance hog population explosion starting from mostly well meaning hunters and outfitters expanding hunting opportunities. It is next to impossible to contain hog populations 100% and when...
I'm down with that!
