Who makes the cam's? My Cuddebacks are still running on the same batt's Iput in when I put them out 2 month's ago. They run on 4 D cell's. I have my settings at 30 sec intervals also. Ican usually getabout 2500 pic's per batt set before Ihave to change them out.

By the cost of them, they sound like they may be WildView cams. They have had alot of trouble with them from their reviews.

I use the moultrie ir40's and have had real good luck with them. I put one out last september and forgot about it. I picked it up in march and I think I had over 5,000 pictures and was still operating and had like 30% battery left. Ive heard real good things about the scout guards as well.

That's pretty good for a Moultrie. Usually they follow their feeders and the life span. (Short) LOL Ihave tried alot and have settled on the Cuddebacks. The Stealth's, Wildviews,Game Eyes all are good for the price, but do not last that long and don't take the quality pictures like the Cuddebacks do. IMO

I will agree with Gary on the life span on some of the cheaper game cams and the trigger speed is slower than it should be, But my Steath Cam takes great pics, That's what all of the game cam pics I have posted came from.

oh ya and I get about 1500-2000 pics per set of batteries but it uses 8 D's

I had a few of the earlier cuddebacks and somene liked them more than i did. Thats why Ive been buying the cheaper ones so im not out as much if someone decided to borrow one.

Ihear ya on "someone else liked them more than Idid". Ilost 3 of my Cudde's in Wi last yr alone. Since then, Ihave been using the bear safe mounts to attach them to the trees. At least it will stop the honest thieves. LOL
