    Hog Mounts

Does anyone else have a problem withtheir wife not wanting a hog head hanging in the house? My wife absolutely refuses to let me hang my hog heads in the house. She claims they are ugly and gross. I keep telling her they are beautifull in my eyes and a trophy no matter how you look at them. Give me your suggestions on how to change her mind.

I'ma taxidermist so my wife really has no choice in our house. You could tell her that she can decorate the rest of the house how she wants but you just want one room. I'm almost positive that she has some flowerdy stuff some where in the house that you don't like so she can either take it down or let you hang the hog head. Maybe it will work maybe it won't? Glad I don't have the problem myself. My wife loves the deer heads but just deals with the hogs. I feel for you man. I know some wives that won't even allow deer heads inthe house.

In my living room, we have divided it up to her walls and my walls, and even though I have a wall for my mounts, hogs are still a no no. LOL

My father in law trained my wife pretty well, but when I built my house last year I put in a trophy room. My wife really doesnt care, as long as it looks classy. Some folks way over do it with the dead animals. All of my man stuff is in my room except for a big bull elk and some axis pillows on the couches in the living room.

When we have our new house built and he has a trophy room he can put all the hog heads up he wants. Our house now he can put up all the deer/moose or my ram head on the walls. LOL
