    billy rey's slow-cooker barbecued pork

    1(21/2-to-3-pound) well-trimmed boneless pork butt (shoulder),1/2 medium minced onion, 1 cup ketchup, 1/2 teaspoon sugar, 2 1/2 teaspoons dry mustard, 1/4 teaspoons chili powder, 11/2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce, 3/4 teaspoon cider vinegar, 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper.....cut roast into large chunks. place in 4 quart or larger slow cooker. combine onion, ketchup sugar, chili powder, worcester sauce, vinegar and pepper, and mix well. pour over roast and cook on low 8 hours. remove pork from cooker and shred; skm fat from sauce. rturn pork to cooker and mix well with sauce. serve immediately. makes 10 to 12 servings.
