    Evening Boar

I managed to hunt every day so far in December. Deer season is getting close to the end and it's been tough. Still killing pigs. I'm not able to night hunt the boars because I'm concentrating on deer. This boar came in Tuesday the 6th at 5pm. This is the first pig in a year with the Savage .270. I don't have it set up for nite hunting.

    What did he weigh?

217lb. I have tons of pix of this boar at night...glad he made the mistake of an early dinner. I had to stop my nite hog hunting for the rest of deer season, I can't hunt hogs till ??? and get up in the morning to hunt deer! If they show before or at dark for the next 2 weeks, they get shot! Deer season ends.....Hog season doesn't! I'm lined up for some serious pig killing come January.

Nice one with a big ole head on him. We aren't seeing many pigs right now. Was sure hoping to get some during our Christmas break. Still letting our deer come back since our place was a poachers paradise till we bought it. Heard they shot anything that moved. Good luck in January.
