Hey guys,
new to the forum. I've lived in texas my entire life until going off to college this past year. my family lives in kemp texas. about an hour and half east of dallas. I've been home for christmas break and was wanting to hunt some hogs. i used to do a lot of hunting at our family ranch in laredo but the cartels ruined that for us. i built a blind and set it out. I'm hunting about 50 acres that leads up to a lake. there is a heavy wooded area and then about 100 yards of beach up to the lake. i have a feeder out with regular corn and i also threw out some apple scented corn. i have seen a bunch of tracks and a lot of rooting out there but the hogs won't come near the feeder or eat the corn I've thrown out. i put a camera out also and all i got was one raccoon and a rabbit. i know there are hogs there but they won't find the feeder. do any of y'all have any suggestions that could help me out? i was hoping to kill a hog before i head back to school.

Thanks in advance
Evan
